It looks like we may be in for a white Christmas after all here in northeast Ohio. Forecasted to hit Friday, winter storm Elliot promises rain, snow and ice for the weekend. Couple that with high winds and windchills down to -25° and it’s going to be a hard couple of days.
So this morning we’re out stocking straw in the goat barns and extra wood shavings for the chickens to keep everyone dry and warm. Buckets for warm drinking water are staged by the utility sink, ready to be ferried down to the animals as needed.
Because when did Noah build the ark?
Before it started raining.
Stay safe everyone. Happy Winter Solstice!
